XA 5Y.M Microbalances have a manually opened weighing chamber and use a semi-automatic levelling system. Opening the chamber manually provides full control over access to the sample. An important advantage of these series balances is that the user can disassemble the chamber quickly, easily and without tools, which greatly simplifies cleaning.

Semi-automatic levelling, the so-called LevelSENSING System, prompts the user in which direction the balance should be levelled. The system guides the user step by step, which minimizes the risk of errors during levelling and significantly reduces the time of this process.
